Attention
Parents:
Dear
Parents:
Your
involvement and support of the Youth Ministry at the Fonda Reformed Church is
very important. We can always use
help, new ideas, support, and volunteers for our events.
Can
you help in some way? We would love
to hear from you!
This
year we are looking for parents to commit to our Summer Mission Trip. We are
looking at working locally with “Lifesaver Ministries”
This is an organization in
Gloversville
that assists unwed teen mothers and their children.
We are hoping to help by doing construction on a building they have
recently purchased for their important ministry.
Please contact us if you might be able to help or commit to this week
long project.
We
also want to say a heartfelt Thank You
to Laura Burroughs who will be stepping down from the youth group this spring.
Laura has faithfully served as a youth group leader for the past 6 years.
She has given up a week every summer to go on our mission trips, has
prepared countless meals and snacks for our group, and has led us in looking
into our walk with God. We thank God
for you Laura and for your help and leadership while you have given of yourself
to serve God in this way. Please say
a special thank you to Laura as she moves into other areas of ministry in her
life.
Sincerely,
The
Youth Group Leaders
